Christopher Hulse Killed, Donald Robinson, Tanbir Islam & Two Others Hurt in Accident in Bronx, NY

Bronx, NY -- An alleged DUI collision claimed the life of Christopher Hulse and left Donald Robinson, Tanbir Islam and two others injured in Bronx, NY Thursday, January 3, 2017.

A Toyota Camry containing Mr. Hulse, Mr. Islam and two others was traveling on Boston Rd. in the area of Wallace Avenue when the incident occurred. The Camry was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it veered into an oncoming lane, striking a Chrysler Minivan and subsequently a Mitsubishi. Mr. Hulse, a passenger in the back seat of the Camry, was taken to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. Mr. Robinson, the occupant of the minivan, was injured in the crash, and was last listed in critical condition. Mr. Islam and two occupants of the Camry, a 21 and 22-year-old, respectively, were injured in the incident. Both unidentified passengers were last listed in serious but stable condition.

Officials are currently conducting the investigation as a drunk driving incident.
