Jeremy Gelinas Killed in Rollover Accident in Rusk County, TX

Rusk County, TX -- A single-vehicle crash at the intersection of FM-2276 and Sh-323 in Rusk Co., TX claimed the life of Jeremy Gelinas Sunday, January 8, 2017.

It appears a 2000 Ford Explorer containing Mr. Gelinas was southbound on Fm-2276 about 12:20 a.m. when the incident took place. The vehicle reportedly veered across State Highway 323, going off the roadway. The passenger vehicle then rolled several times, ejecting Mr. Gelinas part of the way from the vehicle. Mr. Gelinas was killed at the scene of the incident. The report made no mention of other occupants in the crashed vehicle.

Officials are currently conducting the investigation into the deadly incident.

The investigation is ongoing and a determination of the cause may be forthcoming.

The preliminary press release provided no further information at the time of its release.
