Tina Champion & Charles Wilson Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on FM 2484 in Salado, TX

Salado, TX -- A head-on collision on FM 2482 claimed the lives of Tina Champion and Charles Wilson in the area of Salado, TX Tuesday, January 10, 2017.

Officials say 37-year-old Harker Heights resident, Charles Wilson, was in a pickup on FM 2484 about 5:30 a.m. when the incident took place. The report claims the pickup truck collided with a 2010 Mercedes, occupied by a 49-year-old Tina Champion. The incident was described as a "head-on" collision by the media report.

The female victim in the passenger car was killed at the scene of the incident.

The report claims the driver of the pickup was thrown from the truck and was also killed at the scene.

The roadway was closed for several hours following the deadly collision.

Due to the immediacy of the incident, the preliminary media report provided no further information.
