Sherlene Parker Killed in Truck Accident in Columbus, OH

Columbus, OH -- A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and two passenger vehicles claimed the life of 68-year-old Sherlene Parker in Columbus, OH Monday December 19, 2016.

Police officials say Mrs. Parker's vehicle was northbound on Cassady Avenue when it was struck from behind. The force of the collision caused her Hyundai Tuscon to cross into the oncoming lanes and collide with a tractor-trailer. Mrs. Parker was killed at the scene of the crash. 24-year-old Deandro Brown, the driver of the other passenger car, and John Bolin, the 61-year-old driver of the semi-truck, were uninjured in the incident.

Officials are currently investigating the details of the incident and have yet to determine a cause.

The preliminary press release provided no more information regarding the deadly incident.
