Man Injured in Laredo, TX, Rollover Accident on Loop 20

Laredo, TX -- January 6, 2017, a man was injured as the result of an accident in which his vehicle overturned along Loop 20.

Authorities from the Laredo Police Department responded to the accident scene near the intersection of Loop 20 and Clark Boulevard.

According to their accident reports, the vehicle was traveling through an area that was under construction. At some point, the vehicle lost control and swerved to the side of the highway. The vehicle crashed, overturning repeatedly into the work zone.

The driver was ejected form the vehicle during the crash. He sustained critical injuries, and EMS rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment. No additional injuries were reported.

Laredo Police and Texas DOT officials continue to investigate the crash. No further information is currently available.
