Man Killed in TRE Train Accident near North Beach Street in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX -- An incident involving a pedestrian and a Trinity Railway Express train claimed the life of an unidentified man Monday, January 9, 2017.

The incident took place in the area of North Beach Street about 8:30 p.m.

The details of the incident are unclear, but police say the man was struck walking along the tracks. The man's identity had yet to be disclosed pending notification of next of kin. Officials had yet to determine the cause of the incident.

The official investigation into the deadly incident is currently underway and may reveal more details as it concludes.
