Man Killed in Accident at Moffett Road and Central Blvd. in Mobile, AL

Mobile, AL -- A collision in Mobile, AL involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left an unidentified person dead Monday, January 9, 2017.

Sources say a white Hyundai containing the victim was trying to tune onto Moffett Road from Central Blvd. when the incident took place. Official say the vehicle was then struck by a tractor-trailer headed east on Moffett Road. The unidentified driver of the passenger car was killed at the scene of the incident. The report made no mention of other injuries related to the crash.

The identity of the deceased victim had yet to be disclosed.

Police officials are currently investigating the details of the incident in the hope of determining the cause.

The report provided no further information regarding the deadly crash at the time of its release.
