Nathan J. Culbertson Killed in Alleged DUI Accident in Delaware Co., OH

Delaware County, OH -- An alleged alcohol related incident claimed the life of 24-year-old Nathan J. Culbertson in the area of Delaware County, OH Sunday January 8, 2017.

Sources say a vehicle containing the victim was headed west on State Route 37 when the incident occurred. The Honda Accord allegedly initially veered off the right side of the roadway, then careened off the left side of the roadway, colliding with a tree. Mr. Culbertson was taken to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, but later succumbed to his injuries. The cause of the incident is unclear, but police say they believe alcohol may have been a factor.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.

The preliminary media report provided no further information regarding the deadly crash.
