Maureen Meza Killed in Accident in Anaheim, CA

Anaheim, CA -- A two-vehicle collision involving a passenger car and a semi-truck claimed the life of 26-year-old Maureen Meza Friday, January 6, 2017.

It appears a vehicle containing Mrs. Meza collided with a semi-truck on the I-5 freeway about 5 a.m. Mrs. Meza was killed at the scene of the incident, according to officials. The unidentified driver of the big rig was unharmed in the crash.

The exact cause of the crash had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident and hope to learn more as the investigation concludes.

The preliminary press release provided no further information at the time of its release.
