Taylor Tannenbaum Killed, One Hurt in Accident in Mira Mesa, CA

Mira Mesa, CA -- An alleged road rage collision claimed the life of 24-year-old Taylor Tannenbaum in Mira Mesa, CA Monday, January 2, 2017.

Sources say the incident began in a Target parking lot about 6:30 p.m.

According to reports, the victim was the occupant of a Scion that was involved in the incident with a Toyota Camry.The two cars were honking at each other, and were seen driving erratically on Mira Mesa Boulevard. Within moments, the Camry and the Scion collided, sending the Scion into a tree. Mrs. Tannenbaum was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

It is alleged the second vehicle left the scene of the incident.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.

The preliminary press release provided no further information at the time of its release.
