One Injured in Kilgore, TX, Two-Vehicle Accident on I-20

Kilgore, TX -- January 6, 2017, one person was injured following an accident in which two vehicles crashed on Interstate 20.

Responding authorities from the Kilgore Police Department responded to the accident scene just north of I-20 near the intersection of Highway 42.

At around 5:30 a.m., two vehicles were traveling along I-20 when they somehow crossed paths with each other. The two vehicles collided, causing them to spin out of control. One of the drivers overturned several times in the process.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and they transported one of the drivers to a nearby hospital. His injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.

Authorities did not report any charges or citations in connection with this accident, and the exact cause of the crash is not currently clear.

Investigations are ongoing.
