Man Seriously Hurt on Route 315 in Laflin, PA Truck Accident

Laflin, PA -- A collision between a passenger car and a tractor-trailer left a man with serious injuries on Route 315 in Laflin, PA Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Police say the incident took place about 7 p.m.

It appears the victim's car and the tractor-trailer collided as the semi was attempting a left turn from Pittston Avenue. The passenger car reportedly became lodged beneath the semi-truck. Fire crews were able to extract the victim within 10 minutes time. According to the report, the man was seriously injured in the crash.

The unidentified victim was transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. His current condition is unknown.

The report made no further mention of other injuries related to the crash.

Authorities are currently conducting the investigation into the incident.
