Man Killed in Accident in the 1500 Block of Guadalupe Street in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- A pedestrian vs. passenger vehicle incident in San Antonio, TX claimed the life of an unidentified man about 7 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017.

Sources say the man was in the area of 2500 Guadalupe Street and Zarzamora Street when the incident took place. The cause of the incident is unclear, but police say the victim was struck by the passenger vehicle. The unidentified victim was transported to University Hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.

His identity had yet to be disclosed at the time of the report.

Authorities are currently conducting the investigation in the hopes of learning the exact cause.

Due to the immediacy of the incident, the report provided no further information at the time of its release.
