11 Injured in Cleveland, TX, School Bus Accident on Plum Grove

Cleveland, TX -- January 4, 2017, a bus driver and 10 students were injured following an accident in which a school bus crashed on Plum Grove Road.

Medical teams and police investigators were called to the accident scene at around 4:00 p.m. The crash occurred along Plum Grove Road as the bus was transporting students from Eastside Elementary.

According to preliminary reports, the bus somehow became involved in an accident that caused it run off the roadway. As a result, the bus crashed on the side of the road.

Emergency services came to the scene to render aid. At least ten students on the bus were taken to hospitals for treatment. The driver of the bus was also transported to a nearby hospital. Reports say that none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

At this time, authorities have yet to indicate what caused the accident. Their investigations are ongoing.
