Hell’s Kitchen, NY Bus Accident Leaves Man Hurt on West 42nd Street

Hell's Kitchen, NY -- A pedestrian vs. bus collision left a man with a severe head injury on West 42nd Street in Hell's Kitchen, NY Thursday, December 29, 2016.

Sources say the unidentified 33-year-old man was attempting to cross West 42nd Street near 10th Avenue when the incident took place. It appears the westbound bus failed to see the man in the intersection, crashing into him. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the bus reportedly stayed at the scene of the incident.

The victim's identity and updated condition has not been revealed.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
