Sydney Weakley Killed in Fresno, CA Accident

Fresno, CA -- A collision between an SUV and a car claimed the life of 21-year-old Sydney Weakley Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Fresno, CA.

The collision reportedly occurred in the area of Herndon and West Avenues.

The details of the crash are unclear, but police say a westbound SUV crashed into the victim's sedan. It is believed Mrs. Weakley was turning onto Herndon where the wreck happened. Mrs. Weakley, the lone occupant in the vehicle, was killed at the scene of the incident.

The cause of the crash had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

Officials are investigating the details of the incident to determine the cause.
