Man Killed in Robertson County, TX, Accident on Highway 6

Robertson County, TX -- January 1, 2017, a man was killed as the result of an accident where his vehicle crashed off of Highway 6.

Robertson County Sheriff's Deputies and the Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the fatal accident which occurred near the intersection of Highway 6 and FM 2159.

At around 9:00 a.m., a man was driving down the road when his pickup somehow lost control. The vehicle careened off the side of the highway, down an embankment, and into Walnut Creek below.

Officials say that the man was dead when emergency services arrived. An official cause of death has not yet been determined.

Authorities have not released any further information as their investigations continue.
