One Killed on I-16 in Macon, GA Truck Accident

Macon, GA -- A crash between a passenger car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of an unidentified victim in Macon, GA Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

The report claims Carlton Kiser was operating an International semi-truck when it was involved in a collision. Mr. Kiser reportedly pulled the vehicle to the side of the road, placing on the emergency flashers. Within moments, a 2015 Volvo tractor-trailer collided with the stopped rig, killing the Volvo's driver. The deceased victim has yet to be identified pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the deadly incident has not been determined.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
