Randy Hafen Killed in Accident in Enterprise, UT

Enterprise, UT -- 28-year-old Randy Hafen was killed in a collision between a Volvo passenger vehicle and a semi-truck in Enterprise, UT Monday, January 2, 2017.

The deadly incident took place in the area of mile marker 38 on Route 18 around 6 p.m.

Police say an SUV containing Mr. Hafen was headed north on Route 18 when it crossed the center of the roadway. The SUV then struck a semi-truck traveling in the opposing lane. Mr. Hafen was killed at the scene of the incident. The report made no mention of other injuries related to the crash.

The cause of the crash has not been determined, but officials say poor road conditions may have contributed.

Officials are currently conducting the investigation and hope to learn more as it concludes.
