Jamme Barrera, Michael Fowler Injured in Murray Co., OK Accident

Murray County, OK -- A single-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer left Jamme Barrera and Michael Fowler with injuries in Murray County, OK.

The incident occurred in the near the 47 and 47 mile markers on Interstate 35 about 8:25 p.m.

Sources say the oil drilling rig truck was on the interstate when, for unclear reasons, it veered right and off the roadway. The vehicle rolled over, subsequently catching fire. 28-year-old Jamme Barrera, the driver of the truck, and 24-year-old Michael Fowler, the passenger, were both ejected from the vehicle. The two injured occupants were taken to a nearby hospital, and were last listed in critical condition.

The official investigation is currently underway, and authorities hope to learn more as it unfolds.
