Sylvia Hernandez Killed in San Antonio, TX, Hit-and-run Accident

San Antonio, TX -- December 28, 2016, Sylvia Hernandez was killed following an accident where she was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.

San Antonio Police and emergency responders were called to the Wolfe Run Apartments on Cinnamon Creek Drive.

Investigators say that around 1:05 a.m., 52-year-old Hernandez was walking along the road when a vehicle somehow ran into her, striking her onto the roadway. Hernandez was critically injured, and she ended up dying at the scene of the accident.

At this time, police officials have not reported any details about the driver involved in the crash. It's unclear whether or not they have any leads at this time.

No additional details have been released as investigations are ongoing.
