Shahn Waltmon Killed, Matthew Sharp Hurt in Silsbee, TX, Accident

Silsbee, TX -- December 29, 2016, Shahn Eirc Waltmon was killed, Matthew Sharp injured, after an accident where their vehicles crashed head-on.

Investigators from the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the accident scene around 6:00 p.m. where a motorcycle and a Jeep had crashed.

Their preliminary reports claim that 44-year-old Waltmon was riding a motorcycle westbound on Highway 327. 19-year-old Sharp was driving the Jeep eastbound. As the two vehicles passed each other, they somehow crossed paths. The two vehicles hit each other head-on, ejecting Waltmon onto the road.

Waltmon sustained fatal injuries in the accident, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Sharp had minor injuries, for which he was treated at the scene.

Authorities have not yet indicated what might have caused the accident to occur. No further information is currently available.
