Ty Olds Killed in Accident in Airway Heights, WA

Airway Heights, WA -- An incident believed to be alcohol related claimed the life of 44-year-old Ty Olds in the area of U.S. 2 in Airway Heights, WA.

Sources say Mr. Olds was riding a bike along U.S. 2 and Flint when his bicycle was struck by a passenger car. The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Melissa Paul, is claimed to have been intoxicated at the time of the incident. She has since been charged with multiple offenses related to the crash. The report did not make clear if Mr. Olds was killed at the scene.

Officials are currently conducting the investigation and hope to learn more as it concludes.
