Sergio Oregon Killed in Freestone County, TX, Accident

Freestone County, TX -- December 31, 2016, Sergio Oregon sustained fatal injuries after an accident where his vehicle crashed off the highway.

The Texas Department of Public Safety released an accident report concerning the fatal crash.

Troopers say that at around 12:30 p.m., 22-year-old Oregon was traveling northbound on TX-75 in a pickup truck. As he was driving, his vehicle somehow lost control and veered off of the roadway. The pickup went into a roadside ditch where it crashed into a tree.

Due to the collision, Oregon was fatally injured. Responding medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene. No other injuries occurred.

Texas DPS investigators say that their investigations are ongoing. No further information is currently available.
