Jessica M. Ennis Killed, Two Hurt in Redmond, OR

Redmond, OR -- Jessica M. Ennis was traveling on Southwest 35th Street and Highland Avenue about 12:05 p.m. when a collision with a pickup claimed her life and left two children with injuries.

Sources say the woman's SUV was southbound on 35th Street when it encountered a westbound Dodge pickup. Officials claim it was at the intersection that the two vehicles collided, killing Mrs. Ennis at the scene, and leaving two children in her vehicle with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup, which was hauling a trailer at the time of the collision, was uninjured in the crash. Police claim the deceased woman's SUV was crossing the highway when it was struck by the pickup.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal important details as it concludes.
