16-Year-Old Girl Killed in Shooting Accident on Oak Shadows in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- An incident described as a possible accidental firearm discharge claimed the life of an unidentified 16-year-old girl in Houston, TX Saturday, December 31, 2016.

The details of the incident are unclear, but the report claims officials believe the shooting was "not necessarily self-inflicted." Sources say the shooting incident took place in the area of 4200 Oak Shadows about 2:30 a.m. The identity of the 16-year-old victim has yet to be disclosed. The report made no mention of who fired the gun at the time of its release.
