One Killed, Two Hurt in Accident on Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach, VA
Virginia Beach, VA -- A three-vehicle collision left one person dead and two others hurt about 10:12 a.m. on Princess Anne Road Friday, December 30, 2016.
Sources say a dump truck was backing into a construction site when it stopped in the westbound lane. Within moments, a Ford F-150 traveling in the same lane, crashed into the rear-end of the truck. The initial collision forced the Ford into the inside lane of the westbound lane. The Ford then collided with a Honda CRV, killing a passenger in the Ford. The driver of the Ford and the driver of the Honda were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as "minor." The driver of the dump truck was not hurt.
The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
