Michael Hackney Killed in Accident in Rochester, NY

Rochester, NY -- An alleged DUI incident on Henrietta Street claimed the life of Michael Hackney Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the area of Rochester, NY.

It appears the victim's girlfriend, Elizabeth Page, was operating the vehicle that struck the Mr. Hackney in a driveway on Henrietta Street. Police officials reportedly arrived to the scene about 3:10 a.m., finding Michael Hackney pinned beneath the woman's vehicle. Mr. Hackney was transported to a local hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the collision is unclear, but police say they believe Mrs. Page was intoxicated when it occurred.

Mrs. Page has since been charged with multiple offenses related to the incident.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
