One Injured in Lubbock, TX, Rollover Accident on 58th and Slide

Lubbock, TX -- December 23, 2016, one person sustained injuries due to an accident in which two vehicles crashed at the intersection of 58th and Slide.

Lubbock emergency response services arrived on the scene at around 10:00 a.m. just outside the South Plains Mall.

According to preliminary investigations, the two vehicles were traveling down Slide when somehow they crossed paths. Due to the collision, one of the vehicles involved flipped over onto its roof.

One person had moderate injuries following the crash. It's not clear from which vehicle they came. Medical crews transported that person to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities did not say how the accident was caused. No charges or citations were reported following the crash.
