Rebecca Bishop, Billy Wilson Injured in Van Accident in Trenton, TX

Fannin County, TX — January 22, 2024, Rebecca Bishop and Billy Wilson were injured following a van accident at around 6:30 p.m. along Highway 121.

Authorities said in their statements that the accident happened near the intersection of Highway 121 and County Road 4602.

Investigators reported that 53-year-old Rebecca Sue Bishop and 52-year-old Billy Wilson were in a Jeep Cherokee which was going southbound along the highway. They reportedly slowed down as they approached a left turn. Authorities say their turn signal was on, but a Ford van also going southbound somehow failed to control speed. The van crashed into the back of Bishop and Wilson, sending the Jeep off-road.

Due to the collision, Rebecca Bishop reportedly had serious injuries while Billy Wilson's injuries were described as moderate. No other injuries were reported. At this time, no further information about the accident is available.
