Raymond Lofland Jr. Killed in Rollover Truck Accident in Shreveport, LA

Shreveport, LA — February 5, 2024, Raymond Lofland Jr. was killed in a rollover truck accident at approximately 6:00 a.m. along Interstate 20.

According to authorities, 67-year-old Raymond Lofland Jr. was traveling in a westbound 18-wheeler towing a trailer on Interstate 20 in the vicinity west of Pines Road when the accident took place.

The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler was involved in a collision with a westbound Kia. The 18-wheeler overturned onto its right side due to the crash. Lofland incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
