Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on U.S. 75 in Plano, TX

Plano, TX — January 30, 2024, a motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle accident at approximately 1:30 p.m. along U.S. Highway 75.

According to authorities, one person was traveling on a southbound motorcycle on U.S. 75 in the vicinity of Park Boulevard when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that the motorcycle may have been traveling at high speeds leading up to the accident. It reportedly failed to safely maintain its lane of travel, losing control and crashing into a concrete barrier. The collision ejected the rider, who came to rest in the southbound lanes of the service road. The victim incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
