Steven Kent Maple Killed in Car Accident in Heidenheimer, TX

Bell County, TX — January 5, 2024, Steven Kent Maple was killed as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around midnight along Business Highway 190.

Initial details about the accident say that it took place near the Business 190 and the U.S. 190 intersection southeast of Temple.

Authorities said in their preliminary statements that 67-year-old Steven Kent Maple was in a Toyota Camry going southeast along Business 190. At a curve in the road, the vehicle apparently ran off the side of the road where it hit a concrete barrier and overturned.

Due to the accident, Maple sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, no further information about the accident is available.
