Tajudeen Salami Killed in Car Accident in Arlington, TX

Arlington, TX — January 1, 2024, Tajudeen Salami died due to injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred weeks prior along Park Row Drive.

Authorities said that the crash happened on December 18, 2023, at around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of East Park Row Drive and Susan Drive.

According to officials, 44-year-old Tajudeen Salami was walking along the sidewalk off the corner of Park Row and Susan Drive. On the road, it appears a Mazda failed to yield to a Honda Civic, resulting in a collision. The collision forced the Honda off-road where it struck Salami.

Salami had serious injuries due to the accident and was taken to a hospital. Authorities say he died due to those injuries early on January 1. There were no other reported injuries. Authorities said there was a recommendation for a charge of accident involving death against the Mazda driver. Right now, additional details are unavailable.
