Woman Injured in Truck Accident on Hwy. 62 in Orange, TX

Orange, TX — January 18, 2024, a woman was injured in a truck accident that reportedly took place along State Highway 62.

According to authorities, a woman was traveling in a southbound pickup truck along S.H. 62 in the vicinity of a truck stop when the accident occurred.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup truck collided with the trailer of an 18-wheeler—which had reportedly been exiting the truck stop—and became wedged underneath. The woman was allegedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated upon the arrival of emergency personnel.

The woman incurred injuries of unknown severity during the accident and was taken to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
