Three Injured in Car Accident on F.M. 347 in Cherokee County, TX

Cherokee County, TX — December 18, 2023, three people were injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 11:30 p.m. along F.M. 347.

Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened in the area of Farm-to-Market 347 and County Road 1608, near Dialville, several miles northwest of Rusk.

According to current information, two 23-year-old men and a 19-year-old woman were in a Honda CR-V going northbound along F.M. 347. The vehicle apparently lost control, ultimately leading to the van running off the left side of the road. There, the van crashed into the line of trees.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the vehicle and the 19-year-old woman had serious injuries. The third occupants injuries were described as moderate. Currently the exact cause of the crash cannot be confirmed pending further information.
