Jose Paulino Zuniga Jr., 1 Injured in Car Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — January 1, 2024, Jose Paulino Zuniga Jr. and one other were injured after a car accident at around 3:51 a.m. on Providence Street.

Preliminary details about the crash were released by authorities, saying that the crash happened in the area of Providence Street and Conti Street.

According to officials, 37-year-old Jose Zuniga Jr. and a 23-year-old man were in a Chevy Silverado traveling along Providence. The vehicle apparently lost control, causing it to go off the right side of the road. There, the pickup then crashed into an overpass support pillar.

As a result of the crash, Zuniga and the other person in the Silverado had apparently serious injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else in the vehicle. While authorities mentioned issues with the vehicle tires as a possible factor in the accident, details cannot be confirmed at this time.
