Roble Alberto Rivier Hernandez Killed in Car Accident in Hidalgo County, TX

Hidalgo County, TX — December 19, 2023, Roble Alberto Rivier Hernandez was killed as the result of a single-vehicle accident at 8:20 p.m. along La Homa Road.

Preliminary details about the fatal crash say that it happened in the area of La Homa Road and 4 Mile Line Road.

It appears that 19-year-old roble Alberto Rivier Hernandez was the driver of a GMC Acadia that was going southbound along F.M. 2894/Highway 364/La Homa. Just off 4 Mile Road, the vehicle somehow went to the right, hopped the curb at the intersection, and crashed into a traffic light pole.

Due to the crash, Hernandez sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. It appears there were no other passengers in the vehicle. Authorities also did not mention any other vehicles being involved in the crash. Investigators confirmed no other details.
