Mount Calvary Man, Baraboo Man Injured in Truck, Tractor Accident on Highway 23 in Fond du Lac County, WI

Fond du Lac County, WI — January 10, 2024, a Mount Calvary man and a Baraboo man were injured after a truck versus tractor accident at 9:00 a.m. on Highway 23.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash happened in the Township of Forest area just off County Road W.

According to current public information, a 62-year-old Mount Calvary man was on a John Deere tractor traveling along westbound Highway 23. Approaching the tractor was an 18-wheeler reportedly driven by a 53-year-old Baraboo man. In a series of events not clear right now, the semi crashed into the tractor. Both vehicles then traveled off-road into the ditch.

The Mount Calvary man had reportedly life-threatening injuries while the Baraboo man's injuries were said to be non-life-threatening. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
