Egbele Egbuna Injured in Truck Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — November 26, 2023, Egbele Egbuna was injured in a truck accident at approximately 11:00 p.m. along Sam Houston Parkway.

According to reports, 48-year-old Egbele Egbuna was traveling in an eastbound Honda Accord at the intersection of Sam Houston Parkway and Lee Road when the accident took place.

Authorities indicate that the Accord was occupying the far left lane at the intersection which can be used when either making a left turn or continuing straight. The middle lane—a straight only lane—was reportedly occupied by an 18-wheeler. Allegedly, the 18-wheeler attempted to make a left turn onto northbound Lee Road, causing the Honda to take evasive action; while a collision between the two vehicles was avoided, the Honda reportedly crashed into a concrete overpass column. This collision caused Egbuna to incur suspected serious injuries; he was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive immediate treatment.

The accident is under investigation by local authorities. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
