Robert Eugene Garrett Injured in Car Accident in Lubbock, TX

Lubbock, TX — October 1, 2023, Robert Garrett was injured as the result of a two car accident at around 7:46 p.m. along 50th Street.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash happened in the area of 50th Street and Avenue U.

According to officials, 60-year-old Robert Garrett was on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle going westbound along 50th Street. Police say a Chevy Silverado going northbound out of a private drive turned left, crossing multiple lanes and entering the path of Garrett's motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the right side of the turning pickup.

As a result of the collision, Garrett had injuries described as serious. It does not appear anyone in the pickup had injuries. Further information about the crash can't be confirmed right now.
