Tyson Daw, 2 Injured in Truck Accident in Westlake, TX

Westlake, TX — October 31, 2023, Tyson Daw and two others were injured in a truck accident just before 12:15 in the morning along State Highway 170.

According to reports, Tyson Daw and a 21-year-old female passenger were traveling in a southbound Lincoln along U.S. 377 approaching the S.H. 170 intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Lincoln failed to stop for the indicated red light at the intersection, resulting in a collision with an 18-wheeler which had been eastbound on S.H. 170. Daw—age 34—reportedly incurred severe injuries as a result of the accident. The 21-year-old female in the Lincoln and the driver of the 18-wheeler also sustained injures; all three people involved were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive treatment.

The incident is still under investigation by local authorities. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. No additional details are currently available pertaining to this incident.
