Rosendo Fuentes Sr. Killed in Car Accident in Beaumont, TX

Beaumont, TX — July 14, 2023, Rosendo Fuentes Sr. was killed following a single-vehicle accident at around 4:30 p.m. along South 11th Street.

Investigators said in preliminary statements that the incident took place off the corner of South 11th Street and College Street.

According to officials, a Buick Regal was going southbound on 11th Street when it appeared to make a wide left turn in the intersection, then began going eastbound on College Street. The vehicle then apparently veered right off the roadway where it eventually crashed into a pole.

Authorities say they found Fuentes Sr. inside the Buick partially in the trunk and the backseat. Authorities have not publicly confirmed who was driving the Buick or if anyone else was involved in the crash. A cause for the crash is unavailable at the time.
