Arturo Castorena Killed in Truck Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — October 11, 2023, Arturo Castorena was killed in a truck accident just before 5:30 in the morning along Patriot Parkway.

According to reports, Arturo Castorena—age 60—was traveling on a northbound motorcycle along Patriot Parkway a little less than half a mile south of Illinois Avenue when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with the rear-end of a trailer being towed by an 18-wheeler in the lane ahead. The collision caused the motorcycle to tip over onto its left side and Castorena was ejected from the seat. The 18-wheeler never gave any indication of having been aware of the collision at all; it continued on its northbound route. Castorena incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident, having been declared deceased.

The cause of the accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and dry. There is no additional information currently available pertaining to this incident.
