Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on Business 83 in San Juan, TX

San Juan, TX — July 3, 2023, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a car accident that happened at around 9:07 p.m. along Business Highway 83.

According to officials, the incident took place along the eastbound lanes of the highway just off the corner of South San Antonio Avenue.

Investigators said that a 52-year-old man was walking at the time and may have been crossing Business Highway 83 at the time. While in eastbound lanes, a vehicle struck the man, resulting in the man sustaining fatal injuries.
