Abelardos Bartolon-Lopez Killed in Truck Accident in Mclean County, KY

Mclean County, KY — November 16, 2023, Abelardos Bartolon-Lopez was killed in a truck accident around 10 o'clock in the morning along KY 1379.

According to reports, Abelardos Bartolon-Lopez—age 32—was traveling in a westbound 18-wheeler along KY 1379 in the vicinity of Central City when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler veered out of the westbound lane and crossed over the eastbound lane, where it then left the roadway and rolled onto its drivers side and came to rest. Bartolon-Lopez was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, authorities report. He incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions at the time of the accident were not reported on, but photographs published in the news of the scene depict clear skies and dry roads. There are not currently any additional details available concerning this incident.
