Rosie Valentin Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — November 11, 2023, Rosie Valentin was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at about 6:30 in the evening along Jensen Drive.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store/gasoline station on Jenson street near Laura Koppe Road.

Video surveillance from a business captured footage of the incident. It shows a tan pickup truck colliding with Rosie Valentin, knocking her to the ground and dragging her for approximately thirty feet before finally coming to a stop. The suspect in the incident got out of the truck and looked at the victim before returning to the vehicle and driving away without offering aid of any sort. 71-year-old Valentin suffered several severe injuries as a result of the incident. She was taken to the hospital by EMS where she has since been in critical condition.

Local authorities are actively investigating the incident. There are not currently any additional details available.
