1 Killed, 6 Injured in Truck Accident on U.S. 25 in Bell County, KY

Bell County, KY — November 14, 2023, one person was killed and six were injured in a truck accident at about 11:15 p.m. along U.S. 25.

According to reports, accident took place along the southbound lane of U.S. 25 in the vicinity of Old Highway 25.

Allegedly, a pickup truck rear-ended a passenger car for unconfirmed reasons. The initial collision caused the passenger vehicle to collide with an 18-wheeler. A 15-year-old girl was declared dead as a result of the crash. Three people had to be life flighted to medical facilities for immediate treatment; three others were taken by ambulance to local medical facilities. The current condition of the victims has not been made public.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were not reported on. There is no additional information currently available in connection with this incident.
