Marcos Stone Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Amarillo, TX

Amarillo, TX — August 31, 2023, Marcos Stone was killed as the result of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident at around 10:10 p.m. along Amarillo Blvd.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash took place at the intersection of West Amarillo Boulevard and North Ong Street.

According to officials, 31-year-old Marcos Desi Stone was walking at the time and mad it onto the westbound lanes of the roadway. There, a Nissan Armada struck Stone. This resulted in Stone suffering serious injuries. Details suggest those injuries proved to be fatal.

Right now, there are no reported charges or citations. It appears the vehicle involved did stay at the scene or authorities otherwise have that driver's information. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
