3 Injured in Truck Accident on Interstate 75 in Marietta, GA

Marietta, GA — November 14, 2023, three people were injured in a truck accident at some point in the afternoon along Interstate 75.

According to authorities, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in the vicinity of I-285 and Windy Hill Road.

There were reportedly a total of ten vehicles involved, three of which were 18-wheelers. Allegedly, the accident was caused by a vehicle making an unsafe lane change. One person had to be extricated from the wreckage upon arrival of emergency services; they had reportedly incurred severe injuries as a result of the crash. That victim along with two others were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were not reported on. No additional details are currently available.
